Fansmanship Podcast Episode 217 – Chris Sylvester and Brint Wahlberg
It’s another podcast episode! Cal Poly basketball teams are at the Big...
If first year Cal Poly head coach Sam Crosson takes joy in small victories, he may have allowed himself a fleeting smile on Friday evening. Up against 8th ranked Hawai’i, Crosson’s Mustangs followed a familiar pattern, falling behind 2 sets to none. But then, the Mustangs did something they haven’t done much of lately — they avoided the sweep by winning a set off the Wahine.
Though they ended up losing the match 3-1, the set victory against a highly-ranked opponent is a small bright spot in the midst of a 1-15 season.
Also, there was a soccer game afterwards. The Mustang men lost 1-0 to Cal State Northridge. I included some pictures from there as well. More pictures from the soccer game and another story coming soon.
