Your challenge:Do it without throwing out literary embellishments and metaphorical descriptions like the one you’ve been using with the word “stale.”

Stale means, “Make or become stale”. (of an animal, esp. a horse) “Urinate”. Adjective:(of food) “No longer fresh and pleasant to eat; hard, musty, or dry: “stale bread”.

According to you I whiz on computer keys and use dry bread crust as ink when I write an article.

Now that you find you cannot do the above challenge without an imagination, can we let this ridiculous argument go?

Can we just agree to disagree and disagree to agree?

We’ll let you be the sheriff of the writing world and Ill play the part of the lost soul seeking his father’s direction.

At first, I ignore your harsh sheriff’s treatment and rebel with my imagination. But soon enough I come around to the “boat you float” & the story ends with you & I staring into a stale dry world, wondering where all the color went.

Go Green and Gold!

P.S.: Tonight at the SLO Christmas Parade groups of Aggie’s came strolling by in honor of the “tractor” club. I assume the “tractor” deserves those quotations because tractors don’t exist at Cal Poly. Their figments of imagination and the sounds of their motors a man’s heavy snoring.

Both of these are older articles about our beloved Cal Poly that might strike your fancy.

You may have attended Cal Poly but your writing does nothing more than reinforce stale stereotypes.

Patty-land…where do you come up with such nonsense? When has anybody but you EVER called the university Patty-Land. Never!

99% of the university’s cattle graze miles from the heart of campus and are never seen by students. Your descriptions suggest student walk to class avoiding road apples and cow pies with every step. Like the rows of tractors, pure nonsense!

Cowardice? Name calling?

Such statements are just as misdirected as your writing. A coward doesn’t offer feedback. Too, your suggestion of “name calling” is as inaccurate as you description of rows of tractors. Where?

Stick to writing about the facts not the images you’ve conjured in your imagination.

I know plenty about Cal Poly. The above statement was in celebration for a school- long known most for it’s beloved Ag program-improving the consistency of its sporting programs. I recommend you ask who I am before you deteriorate to some name-calling cowardice. Peace.

Only somebody that is totally uninformed about Cal Poly would make such foolish and unsupported statements. Rows of tractors? Huh? Where? Where have you ever seen or heard of this at Cal Poly. It’s never existed. Even more than 100 years ago.

Between the College of Engineering, College of Architecture and College of Math & Science, Cal Poly enrolls more than 10,000 of its 16,500 undergrads. It been this way for years.

Get updated and lose the cliches about schools with an Ag heritage. They’re stale and your writing clumsy and pompous.
