When the Dodgers played the Marlins, it is blacked out on MLB Network or even Fox Sports Florida, etc. I spent over one hour on the phone with DirecTV and they blame it on the FCC. Why does Time Warner provide KCAL in this market as well as at my parents’ house in San Diego, Orange County, etc., but not here. Nobody at DirecTV or the Dodgers seems to care.

I just saw the 2013 Dodgers schedule and sure enough, tons of games on KCAL that I won’t be watching. It’s such bad logic: blackout games on MLB Extra Innings because they are available on KCAL, but then at the same time, blackout KCAL because it’s not available in Santa Barbara/SLO counties. Why black it out on Extra Innings if KCAL isn’t available here?
