Fansmanship Podcast Episode 217 – Chris Sylvester and Brint Wahlberg
It’s another podcast episode! Cal Poly basketball teams are at the Big...
Cal Poly men’s basketball won two games in two days last weekend to win their regional. In the process, Joel Awich had two big games and earned Big West Player of the Week honors for the first time in his career.
Cal Poly didn’t have any preseason all-conference picks, but Awich and fellow senior David Nwaba probably represent Cal Poly’s best chances at the All-Big West team this year.
More importantly for Joe Callero’s Mustangs, Cal Poly put themselves in a position to win two straight games outside of San Luis Obispo in the preseason, something that doesn’t come very easily. The Mustangs have a week off right now over Thanksgiving, but in the mean time enjoy some photos below from the two Maui Invitational games in Greeley, CO.
