Sharon Day-Monroe is the winningest multi-event athlete in US history. A three-time US Heptathlon champion, Day-Monroe has competed in the Olympics twice and the World Championships three times.

An amazing high jumper and track athlete coming out of high school, Day-Monroe talked about why she chose Cal Poly, the importance of having multiple-sport opportunities, and what it’s like to train to be a world-class multi-event athlete.
